Greetings, and welcome to the virtual home of the Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®.

  

It is a privilege to serve as the 2023-2024 President of this historic chapter.  The Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter is the oldest and largest graduate chapter in the Far Western Region, chartered on Saturday, October 1, 1927.   

  

For 96 years, the Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter has continued on the lifelong journey of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service to All Mankind.  The Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter has provided exemplary service to the communities in the Los Angeles area and continues to provide scholarships to deserving students.     

  

The Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter is supported by The Ivy Heritage Foundation, Inc.® established in November 1999--our charitable arm, which funds our community service programs, projects, and scholarships. The Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter supervises two undergraduate chapters--Iota Beta, located on the campus of the University of Southern California, and Tau Kappa, located on the campus of Loyola Marymount University.  

  

Programs are the Heart of our Organization and under the leadership of our International President and CEO, Danette Anthony-Reed, our Sorority’s 2022-2026 program theme is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood.

Our chapter meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month, except in the months of January and September, and the summer recess months, July-August.
